KHARKOV BEACHES, SUMMER REST IN KHARKIV, UKRAINE
Six Kharkov beachs can accept holiday-makers: Novobavarskiy (Octyabrskij hydro-park on the river Udy), Zhuravlevskiy hydro-park (in the upper reaches of the river Kharkov there is Kharkov), Zhuravlevskiy hydro-park (near to the Shevchenko str.), Alekseevskiy (on the river Lopan',), Osnov'yanskiy (Osnova, on the place of the former sand-pit) and Bezlyudovskiy (the former sand-pit).
Zhuravlevskiy hydro-park:
It is possible to come here from the metro station “Geroev truda” by bus or by tram for ten minutes. The entrance on the beach is payment and costs about 10 UAH, on a car – 20 UAH. On the territory of the beach WC, shower and a lot of water entertainments are free of charge. There it is possible to rent a boat or hydro-bike. If you want to have a walk it is possible to leave goods in a left-luggage. Territory is guarded, and it means that you can have a rest without unpleasant incidents. If you will decide to prepare a shashlick, brazier, separate pavilion, firewood is possible to buy there.
Alekseevskiy meadow-park:
Alekseevskiy meadow-park is situated on the banks of the river Lopan', it is possible to come here from Klochkovskaya. A fashionable hotel complex "Arcade" and entertaining complex "Arizona" settled here for several years. An entrance on their territory is payment. For this money it is possible to use all of day tables, deck-chairs and pools. WC and shower for all of visitors are free of charge.
Bezlyudovka beaches:
It is possible to reach the lakes from the metro station "Gagarina". The entrance on the bank is payments for cars and free of charge for foot-passengers. For an additional pay it is possible to get firewood for making shashlick. There are two lakes and it is forbidden to take a bath in a left one, because of the extraction of sand there, but on the right lake is beauty. Sand here is clean and water is clear. Beaches everywhere are free of charge, a cafe is nearer to the forest, there are payment WC. There on territory of restaurant the «Sandy lagoon» is nigh disco.
Osnova beach:
The way to Osnovyanskij hydro-park is about twenty minutes, from Odesskaya station. There on a beach are life-guards, first aid, and WC - and all of it is free of charge. Lakesides surprise with a cleanness - there regularly take away utility. In the lake buy, closed from other lake, a beautiful view is on small islets and forest. A new cafe is built there, it offers inexpensively and deliciously to feed holiday-makers.
Lozoven’kovskoe storage pool:
A beach is situated near houses of residential district Alekseevskij. The major part of bank (about 5 hectares) is occupied by an entertaining complex «Baden-Baden». It is possible to take a place on a beach under an umbrella if you have made an order in a restaurant. Deck-chairs are payment, it is possible to take advantage of beach bar, of WC and even to fish - there fish are breed especially for the needs of company and they give visitors possibility to fish for payment.
