Arkadiya (Arcady) is the picturesque prospering country place where the most part of known sanatoriums settles down. Arkadija has got an appearance of a modern resort with numerous restaurants, discos, and bars, entertainments for children, adults and pensioners. Bol'shoy Fontan (The great Fountain) is situated just behind Arkadija's beach. The name of this area has been appeared due to the presence of a plenty of the streamlets following from catacombs, along all coast. Now the coast of Bol'shoj Fontan is a wide strip of sandy beaches of 8-th, 10-th, 11-th, etc. stations of Bol'shoj Fontan. On beaches ride on sea scooters, "bananas", and boats and even parachute jumps are offered. Along the coast are cafes, small restaurants, discos. At 8-th station there is fine "Delphinarium" where with pleasure spend time both children and adults. Zolotoy bereg (Gold Coast) is situated near the 16-th station of Bol'shoy Fontan. It is one of the most popular beaches in Odessa; it is located in 50 meters from sanatorium of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Ukraine "Odessa". The beach is connected by high-speed boats with Arkadija, the marine passenger terminal and Luzanovka.

Bol'shoy Fontan beaches behind the 16-th station turn to beaches Lyustdorf. In translation from German Lyustdorf means “A Cheerful village ", it is removed on 15 km from the center of Odessa, now represents area with the advanced infrastructure.

Peresyp’ is the northwest suburb of Odessa where once pour into another place the coast, it opens the way to the estuary Kuyal'nik. Kuyal'nik is the resort with curative mud which has been founded more, than 150 years ago. Kuyal'nik curative mud is used in many sanatoriums of Odessa.

The center of Odessa occupies the flat plateau towering above sea level on some tens of meters and abruptly breaking to sea from the north and the east. The main resort zone of Odessa is located along east edge of a plateau on a site of sea coast in length, approximately, 6 km. Sanatoriums and rest homes are on the top edge of a plateau. There are three central most known beachfront-resort zones: “Lanzheron", "Otrada (Joy)”, “Del'fin (Dolphin)” - with numerous entertaining - pleasure places, and also with different cafes and shops. Beaches are thick-sown with a large pebble, or are stacked with stone plates and more often are a rather narrow strip, above in 10 meters hang low precipice of calcareous rocks. On the comfortable beaches is sand (basically it is brought or received here with the help of special technology of crushing of rather soft limy stone).

Resort Zatoka and Karolino-Bugaz is intensively developing tourist and sanitary center of Ukraine; it is located in 60 km to the south-west of Odessa on picturesque sandy spit, taking place between Black sea, estuary Dnestrovskij and salty lakes. This sandy strip stretches on two tens of kilometers is an elite place of rest: open space, the warm sea, the bright sun, a microclimate of the estuary with smells of southern steppe. During all spit are wonderful beaches in width more than 100 meters with pure fine sand. This place is removed from the industrial centers due to it resort Karolino-Bugaz is one of the most non-polluting places at the Black Sea coast. In a resort zone is plenty of bars, cafes and discos. You can find various kitchens and entertainments for all tastes: live music, music for dances, karaoke, striptease, etc. The flat bottom of the sea creates fine conditions for bathing. The resort season proceeds from the middle of May up to the middle of September. Average day time temperature of air in the summer is about 24-28 C degrees above zero, and temperature of water is 19-23 C degrees above zero.

Ilichevsk is a town in 15 km to the south of Odessa on coast of the Odessa gulf, in a resort zone and possesses two beaches with natural sand: Raduzhny (Rainbow) and town beach, in the general extent of 5 km and more. Ilichevsk is modern, young, developing town; it has a wide network of cafe, bars, restaurants, discos and a casino, both in city, and on a beach. On the town beach are discos and restaurants. On the beach Raduzhny walks on a boat on sea are at your service. On beaches is a great complex of water-entertaining attractions.
